In 2021 I went into a coma for 6 weeks when I woke up I was unable to walk. I started listening to this song every day and prqying to God and 20 days later I was walking again this is the best motivational song I know. Kudos shinedown

At the 2023 'take back your life tour', I went to the concert. After a sang this he said "ladies and gentlemen, weather you realize it or not, this is the largest group therapy session you will ever attend in your life!" Started crying because I battle depression and was suicidal at one point. When he said "raise your hand if you battle the demons known as depression and/or addiction!" I raised my hand for depression. Best night of my life. Thank you disturbed. You make it easier for me to let my emotions out. Your a true life saver.

Been fighting depression my entire life, and this morning I found out my mum's cancer has come back really bad... I immediately thought of this song to listen to (music has always been how I deal with the shittiest things in my life and songs like this have always been an absolute godsend for some of my darkest moments) and it just fits so well with how I'm feeling right now, because she is NOT giving up on treatments, and despite how crappy I feel right now not knowing if they'll even work or how long we might have left, I know she wouldn't want me to give up either or fall back into a black hole of depression like I have in the past. This song honestly gives me strength and I will forever be grateful to songs like this that help me to process my emotions and deal with my darker times and feelings.
